A meme is a format plus a situation. The format carries the structure of the joke (a preference, a temptation, an escalation) and people read it in a fraction of a second because they have seen it a thousand times. The words just have to map your situation onto that structure.

Is the AI meme generator free?
Yes, with a fair-use limit of about 20 requests per 10 minutes per visitor so the service stays free for everyone.
What happens to what I type?
Your description is sent to our server and the AI provider only to generate the captions. It is not stored, and it is not tied to any account because there are no accounts.
Can I edit what the AI wrote?
Yes. Tap "Edit this one" and the result opens in the full editor, where you can change any caption, move boxes and restyle the text.
Does the AI generate the image too?
No, on purpose. Meme formats work because people recognise them instantly, so the AI chooses a known template and writes the words. That is faster, far cheaper and reads better than a brand-new generated picture.
